Shipping Cost
Shipping charges for Australia is a flat fee of $9.70 for parcels up to 500g. Parcels over 500g delivery fee is calculated at checkout. International: Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout. Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $299 anywhere in Australia.
Methods
We offer Australia Post delivery on all orders. All deliveries can be tracked through the Australia Post website, and a signature is required for delivery. We also deliver to a P.O. box or a parcel locker* (parcel locker pre-approved customers only).
Orders shipped outside of Australia will be sent via Australia Post International.
Disclaimer
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive notification by e-mail with an Australia Post tracking number. Be sure to make arrangements for the delivery of your order; someone must be present to sign for the delivery if it is to be completed. Shipments will be held at your local post office if you are not at your designated delivery location to receive your package. If you are not home when your delivery arrives, Australia Post will leave a notification indicating the time and date of its attempted delivery. Cointrader.com.au is not responsible for orders that are deemed non-deliverable.
International delivery
International deliveries are shipped via Australia Post International.
International shipping charges do not include taxes or duties. Contact your country’s customs office for information about duties and taxes. If an order is placed at CoinTrader.com.au and refused at delivery, you will be held responsible for shipping costs, duties, taxes and/or customs charges that were incurred during shipment and these charges will be deducted from your merchandise refund. We are required by law to list the full value of any package’s contents and are unable to alter that value for any reason.
Pre-Orders
When placing a ‘pre-order’, funds are taken at the time of the order to secure your items. You can find details of when we expect the stock on the item page. Once the stock is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Ordering a pre-order via an express shipping option will not shorten the pre-order time, but your item will be sent with an express service once it is in stock. If a multiple item order contains a pre-order we will hold the shipment and post all together, unless instructed otherwise.
Timing
Unless otherwise stated all orders will be usually dispatched within 3-5 days of the order being processed.
Australia-wide; delivery within 3-7 business days including Metro and most Regional areas once shipped.
Regional Western Australia, Queensland and Northern Territory areas will take longer.
Tracking
Use the tracking number that you receive via email from us to trace your order at auspost.com.au. If you do not receive a tracking number, contact us immediately. If the tracking information indicates that your order was delivered, but you did not receive it, contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with Australia Post. Please do not file a claim with your credit card company or PayPal until we have completed our investigation into the matter.

RETURNS
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
Additional non-returnable items:
We do not offer returns for Change of Mind on the following items. These Special Exceptions do not apply to any returns made in accordance with Consumer Guarantees (see below), or otherwise as required by law.
(a) Our e-gift vouchers
(b) Custom order items
(c) Custom made and altered items
(d) Gold and silver bullion coins and bullion
(e) Mint and security coin rolls
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Products with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your PayPal, Afterpay or credit card account, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email or phone us
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
To return your product, you should contact us to arrange the return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
