The featured Kunbarrasaurus ieversi dinosaur, was a type of ankylosaurian dinosaur. Ankylosaurian were heavily built, well armoured dinosaurs with short, powerful limbs.
The Kunbarrasaurus ieversi is the most complete dinosaur skeleton ever found in Australia. It contains many bones, osteoderms as well as preserved stomach contents.
