The Reserve Bank of Australia will issue a new $5 banknote into circulation on 1 September 2016. To coincide with the issuance of the next generation of Australian banknotes we are making available the Next Generation of $5 commemorative folder containing one of the new $5 banknotes from the Reserve Bank.
The word “SPECIMEN” is required on all banknote images for security purposes and does not appear on the actual notes.
